REQUEST TO INITIATE REDISIGN

SENT TO:

TEXAS TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR & PLANNER (AUGUST 20, 2025)

I’ll continue forwarding supporting documentation to formally request the immediate initiation of the Eagle redesign—ideally encompassing the entire system. While some materials are posted on the township website, they remain scattered and lack the structure needed to support coordinated, informed decision-making.

If the redesign moves forward, I ask again that no individual taxpayer shoulder the financial burden. This principle is essential to maintaining public trust and ensuring equitable responsibility. I trust you’ll structure the funding accordingly.

One technical clarification: the elevation listed as 898.4 ft corresponds to 897.97 ft when measured using modern survey equipment. This matches the 100-year floodplain data I previously shared from 2004, which also referenced Prein’s involvement.

More importantly, the legal lake level of 899.26 ft—established by civil court order—must be upheld. This is not a discretionary target. It anchors regulatory compliance, stabilizes floodplain benchmarks, and protects surrounding properties from groundwater spikes caused by swollen lakes. Infrastructure, ecological integrity, and community safety all depend on maintaining this level. Any deviation risks compounding hydrological inaccuracies and undermining both legal precedent and public confidence. There can be no “nuisance” level—only the one that’s been legally and technically affirmed.

Additional records will follow shortly.

Thank you,

Blaine
